About the Project

Under the U.S. Army's Residential Communities Initiative, Clark Pinnacle and the Department of the Army formed a 50-year public-private partnership to develop 4,200 homes on 2,075 acres of Fort Benning Army Installation in Columbus and Dahlonega, Georgia. The project commenced operations on January 1, 2006. Clark Pinnacle Family Communities LLC is a partnership between Clark Realty Capital of Arlington, VA and Pinnacle of Seattle, WA.
Pinnacle assumed management of the existing 3,939 homes located in 11 villages throughout the 184,000 acres of land that comprise Fort Benning. The plan at Fort Benning consists of an end state of 4,200 homes comprised of a mixture of new, renovated, and historic houses.
New communities will include pools, playfields, tot lots, wooded pedestrian trails, and a village center with pools, fitness facilities, basketball courts, multi-use courts and sports areas, meeting space, and computer centers.
Construction activities began as scheduled in January 2006. To read more about the current activities of the project, please look at our
